VBS DECORATING...TODAY!

OFFICE POSITION
Office change is coming. For the past 10 years, Kathy has served as our church secretary and has done a great job keeping us informed, updated and in running the office smoothly at FBCG! She has decided that it is time for a change and will be moving to a staff position with
our Sonshine Christian Preschool. The Official Board appointed a committee (Gene Blinn, Keith Feaga, Linda Kump, Laura Meals and Pastor Carl) to help us prayerfully find her replacement. Click here for more information 

WELCOME TO THE BAK FAMILY!
We welcome Kristian and Kylene Bak to FBC this morning! The Bak’s serve with Koinonia International Church in Aalborg, Denmark. We look forward to hearing about what God is doing in their ministry.

TWO ELDER SUMMER CLASSES AVAILABLE
The Discipleship (July 29, August 5 -McBeth) and Evangelism (July 29, August 5- Bjorkman) classes are available to join. The sign-up sheet is on the welcome center and childcare is provided. We need volunteers

SOUTH MOUNTAIN FAIR...SHORT MEETING TODAY!
The South Mountain Fair is July 21st-25th (Tuesday through Saturday) and we need volunteers for the FBC Walking Stick booth. If you would like to help, please sign up at the welcome center. There will be a brief Walking Stick presentation after each service TODAY, July 12th in Pastor Carl’s office.

HOUSE OF PRAYER
On the 4th Sunday of each month, we gather to pray for our church, our community and our nation and to lift up the name of Jesus. All are welcome! The next meeting is Sunday, July 26th @ 6:00pm.

VBS Snacks for Volunteers
Kim White will oversee snacks and refreshments for VBS volunteers. If you’d like to contribute a dish (dessert, salad, or side)for the VBS Volunteers, please contact Kim at 717-357-1057 with what you’ll bring and which day you’ll drop it off. Thank you!

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Are you interested in a book study? “Modern Marxism” is a book from Answers in Genesis (AIG) for women. Sue Feaga is interested in hosting and facilitating a study. Please contact Sue if you would like to join. The study will start in August. saintsusie@gmail.com

W2 GROUP
The next W2 group meeting will be Sunday, July 26th, following the second service. Linda Kump will be the facilitator. Everyone is asked to bring a favorite meaningful poem and a favorite sandwich to share with the group.

KID’S FOR CHRIST MUSICAL
Our KFC musical this year will be ‘The Fab 4 Kids Show.’ We need kids ages 4-13 to fill all the parts. The show will be on Sunday, August 16th at 10:00am. This will be ONE SERVICE with a picnic/corn roast following. Practice starts next Sunday, Please see Lori Miley, Sharla Reiter or Adrienne Fitzgerald if interested.

HANDBELL PLAYERS NEEDED

MEN'S BREAKFAST
Encourages men from our church family to gather for a meal, engage in fellowship, and participate in a devotional time on the morning of Saturdays at 7:30 AM.  Meet at the church, Lewis Hall

CHURCH BOOK LIBRARY
Check out our church library. We have many great authors such as Max Lucado, Charles Swindoll, C.S. Lewis, Billy Graham to name a few.

We have books about prayer, miracles, books to help with parenting, forgiveness, how to survive a difficult marriage, apologetics, learning to trust God and many more.

We also have many books for children. Lessons to be learned about God and Jesus and how much he loves them. Our library also has two shelves of reference books for those of you who want to study a particular topic or a book of the bible. And don't forget videos…Check us out!
