New Church Office Administrator has been filled!
First Baptist Church and the COA Search Commitee would like to officially welcome Barbara Merson to the staff position. Barbara has been faithfully serving FBCG for many years behind the scenes as our Video Producer, has previously held the role of Treasurer, and has served on the Official Board and the Board of Trustees. Join us in welcoming Barbara as she brings her skills, talents and expertise to the role of Church Office Administrator. WIDOW’S & WIDOWER’S (W2) GROUP

VOLUNTEER MEETING FOR ALL CHILDRENS MINISTRY
Will be held WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26TH AT 6PM. Please plan to attend if you serve in any capacity in children’s ministries: Nursery, Sunday Bible Fellowship, Children’s Church, Awana. This will take place of our typical annual meeting, and is important to attend for all pertinent information. Thank you.
HOUSE OF PRAYER
On the 4th Sunday of each month, we gather to pray for our church, our community and our nation and to lift up the name of Jesus. All are welcome! The next meeting is Sunday, September 30th @ 6:00pm.
MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY
Dwayne and Gina are organizing: “MENACA: The Experience” for next year. This MENACA (Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia) trip is a 15-week immersive missions program calling a generation of bold, Spirit-led disciples to Europe, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, and Morocco from
January 18th – May 2nd, 2027. Application deadline is September 15th, 2026. Please see insert for more information. Gene Blinn is the Mission Board contact for this opportunity.

Encourages men from our church family to gather for a meal, engage in fellowship, and participate in a devotional time on the morning of Saturdays at 7:30 AM. Meet at the church, Lewis Hall

CHURCH BOOK LIBRARY
Check out our church library. We have many great authors such as Max Lucado, Charles Swindoll, C.S. Lewis, Billy Graham to name a few.
We have books about prayer, miracles, books to help with parenting, forgiveness, how to survive a difficult marriage, apologetics, learning to trust God and many more.
We also have many books for children. Lessons to be learned about God and Jesus and how much he loves them. Our library also has two shelves of reference books for those of you who want to study a particular topic or a book of the bible. And don't forget videos…Check us out!
