OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of First Baptist Church of Gettysburg is to advance the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as guided by the Bible, the inspired word of God. In this purpose, we commit ourselves to:

•         Seek the Lord daily and follow His guidance.
•         Advance His kingdom through public worship, ministries, and programs.
•         Support, teach, and train our members and the community to love, worship, and serve Jesus Christ.
•         Remain grounded through our faith, belief, and knowledge of the Bible.
•         Be strengthened and renewed by our love for one another and consistent church-wide prayer.

VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is for people to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior: to grow in Christian maturity and in the knowledge of God's Word; to be united as the Body of Christ for the purpose of glorifying God and to serve Him with all our mind, body, and soul in our families, church, community and world with thanksgiving and praise.

MISSION STATEMENT
Connect all people to Jesus Christ through Compassion, Outreach, Service and Discipleship. We provide Biblical preaching, heartfelt worship and a strong commitment to prayer and fellowship, to enhance and enlarge the Kingdom of God.
